Why Opsight Exists

I Could See What Was Broken.
I Had No Idea How to Fix It.

Every sales manager knows this feeling. That's why I built Opsight.

The Problems I Couldn't Solve

For Managers

I'd sit in 1:1 meetings with my reps, staring at dashboards showing 100+ metrics. I could see what was broken. But I had no idea how to fix it.

"How can I help you?"

"All good."

"Well, let me know how I can help."

And nothing would change.

The data was there. The direction wasn't. I could see my reps struggling with the same objections, making the same mistakes week after week. But I couldn't be there for every call, every deal, every moment of doubt.

For Reps

As a rep, I knew what I was supposed to do. Identify the economic buyer. Create urgency. Handle objections. I'd read the books. I'd been through the trainings.

The knowing-doing gap:

Every rep knows they should "identify the economic buyer" or "create urgency." The difference between top 10% and everyone else? They actually do it — with the right words, at the right time, for each specific deal.

I'd face 200+ decisions every Monday morning with no one telling me which mattered most. By Friday, I'd realize I spent the week on the wrong things.

That's when I remembered what had made the difference in my own career.

The Mentors Who Changed Everything

I've been fortunate to have several mentors throughout my career — not dozens, but a handful of leaders who genuinely invested in my development. Each one taught me something different, and their combined wisdom shaped how I think about sales.

The "why" behind stages

Not just what to do — why it works

One mentor taught me pipeline discipline. Another taught me how to read buyers. Another showed me how to coach without micromanaging. I started documenting everything — every framework, every insight, every hard-won lesson.

But I also realized something troubling: not many reps seek out mentorship. Not many companies cultivate this culture. And not many leaders have the willingness or time to invest in developing others.

Most importantly, I learned a truth that would become the foundation of Opsight:

"Reps can receive the best training from the best coach, but it only happens once. As soon as they face an objection, they revert to what's comfortable. That's why having a mentor to keep them centered is the key."

The Insight That Became NOVA

What if every rep could have a mentor like that? Not once. Every day.

I'd read 287+ sales books over my career — SPIN, Challenger, MEDDIC, Sandler, you name it. They're all excellent. But here's the thing: they all teach roughly the same principles. The problem isn't knowledge. It's execution.

The NOVA System

I distilled everything — the wisdom from my mentors, the frameworks from 287+ books, and my own experience as both a rep and a manager — into a single, unified system. Not to replace any methodology, but to help reps actually follow through on what they already know.

NOVA isn't my invention. It's a synthesis. The best of what my mentors taught me, combined with the best of what I learned from reading, combined with the hard lessons from building teams with no playbook. All distilled into an AI that keeps reps centered — the way my mentors kept me centered.

Why I Was Able to Build This

I've Taught This

For five semesters, I taught Sales & Sales Management and Marketing as an adjunct professor. I had to take everything I knew and make it teachable. That discipline shaped how NOVA explains concepts.

I've Done This

I've been a top performer every single year at a major tech company. I've built B2B sales teams from scratch. I've managed reps and watched them struggle with the same things I struggled with. The problems NOVA solves are problems I've lived.

I've Studied This

4.0 GPA at Delaware Technical Community College. Magna Cum Laude in Finance from Penn State — while working full-time and raising two kids. I approach sales the way I approach everything: systematically.

The Build

Over two years of nights and weekends, I built Opsight.

I'd coded in C++ as a teenager. I'd built dashboards and internal tools throughout my career. But I'd never built a product. AI — specifically Claude — gave me the ability to put my entire process into code.

It wasn't easy. I restarted the project four times after thinking I'd reached the soft launch point. There were nights I thought about giving up. But I kept going, because I knew the pain I was solving was real — because I'd felt it myself, both as a rep and as a manager.

What We're Most Proud Of

Two features that solve the exact problems I experienced

Today's Most Valuable Actions

Research shows reps face 200+ decisions every Monday morning. TMVAs reduce that to exactly 3 actions — one per deal — with exact scripts and the "why" behind each action.

The 7-day cooldown logic prevents reps from just "checking the box" — they have to actually engage with the deal.

The Manager Dashboard

Every manager has dashboards showing 100+ metrics, but no tool shows them HOW to coach their reps.

DISC-adapted coaching playbooks for each rep based on their personality, learning style, and specific deal challenges. Data-driven conversation starters that actually move the needle.

The Why

"No sales rep or sales manager should ever feel like they're doing it alone."

I've been the rep who didn't know what to do next. I've been the manager who could see problems but couldn't fix them. I've been the person who finally found mentors and watched everything change.

Everyone deserves that. Not everyone gets it.

That's why I built Opsight.

You're the coach. We're just the assistant coach.

Why Now

The "More With Less" Reality

Layoffs have hit sales teams hard. Remaining reps need to perform at higher levels with less support. There's never been a greater need for scalable coaching.

AI as Partner, Not Replacement

AI is being blamed for layoffs. We want to show that AI can be a partner — a tool that helps salespeople get more productive and stay ahead of the curve, not something that replaces them.

Democratizing Mentorship

Priced at $49/month (Solo) and $69/user (Team) because everyone deserves access to world-class coaching, not just those at enterprise companies.

About the Founder

I started in retail sales and worked my way up — managing stores, building B2B teams from scratch, eventually becoming an adjunct professor teaching Sales & Sales Management. Today I'm a top performer at a major tech company, and I built Opsight on nights and weekends because I couldn't stop thinking about the problem.

The mentors I had along the way changed my trajectory. NOVA is my attempt to give that same gift to every sales rep and manager who needs it.
